A couple of weeks late, we'd like to give a warm (if belated) welcome to Ana Chikashua as a Data Scientist!

Joining us from Bank of Georgia Ana was mainly engaged in using Deep Learning and Big Data for fraud detection. Most recently Ana was engaged in object detection which means training computers to interpret and understand the visual world. Ana did this by using digital images from cameras/ videos and then training deep learning models, machines that accurately identify and classify objects — and then react to what they “see.”

Ana will be helping us create awesome ML & NLP models along with Giorgi Beriani to delight recruiters with more high-quality referrals from their company network. 👬

What are you most excited about joining Intrro?

What do you love most about working in data science?

Applying mathematical reasoning to real-world problems is very satisfying. After all, the field of data science is moving fast and there is always something new to learn. The exciting elements of the data scientist journey are discovery, insight and innovation. The challenging elements of the discipline provide a great opportunity for data scientists to expand their skills and knowledge.

What type of projects are you excited to work on at Intrro?

Those with social impact, interesting problems to solve and helpful for my professional skills
